YWCA WALK A MILE IN HER SHOES®
is an annual event which raises funds and awareness for the YWCA’s work to prevent domestic and sexual violence, and to promote healthy relationships in the Bow Valley.
This lighthearted event asks individuals to take a stand against violence by strapping on a pair of their favourite shoes and walking alongside one another as allies down Main Street in Canmore.
Walk A Mile 2019 will be held at CANMORE CIVIC CENTRE on Friday, September 13, 2019.
YWCA WALK A MILE IN HER SHOES® takes place rain or shine.
When: Friday, September 13, 2019
Where: Canmore Civic Centre
Time: Noon (Registration opens at 11:30am, walk begins at 12:30pm)

As part of the YWCA’s commitment to shaping a thriving, equitable society, Walk A Mile registration is open to everyone regardless of gender, age or ability. We are grateful for all of the participants, sponsors, donors, volunteers and supporters who have been instrumental in making this event so impactful.
